Information for Schools
The Saint Francis Book Club is Australia’s first book club for Catholic primary schools and their families.
Our mission is to partner with schools to give families access to high quality children’s literature which encourages imagination, learning, a love of reading and spiritual growth through books which reflect Christian values.
We aim to help strengthen the partnership between parents and schools in the holistic formation of children, particularly in cultivating Christian virtues.

Sister Cecilia Joseph, OP
Principal at Saint Peter Chanel Regents Park"I am so grateful for the St Francis Book Club as a wholesome alternative to secular book fairs. It provides families with quality reading materials for their children that align with our Catholic faith and values. It promotes reading, faith, virtue, and the flourishing of the whole child. I trust Veritatis Publishing and know that any materials offered will have the same goals which I have at my Catholic school. St Francis Book Club should be something every Catholic school offers in support of its mission."
School Parent
2025 Pilot School"As a parent, I’m so grateful that our school offers the St Francis Book Club as a faith-based option for students. My children absolutely love their books and enjoy reading them at night in bed, which has made reading and faith feel like a special part of their daily routine. The book club provides a positive and welcoming space where children can grow in their faith and learn important values like kindness and compassion. Opportunities like this are so important because they support not only academic growth, but also children’s spiritual and personal development."
How does it work?
What sets the Saint Francis Book Club apart is putting the student experience at the heart of the process. By letting students browse, feel and flick through our titles, they can get excited about reading and take ownership over their journey.
We are also determined to make it as easy as possible for your school. We’ll take care of the cash handling, order enquiries, packing and delivery to ensure you can easily give your orders to each classroom teacher to hand out.
All you need to focus on is getting your school community talking about reading!

How do I become a partner school?
Schools register their interest in being part of each issue – there are no ongoing commitments. Our Issue 1 catalogue and full product range for Term 3 2026 will be released within the next few weeks.
The price for being a partner school for Issue 1 is $250 (including GST). This will include over $500 of value, including our featured books to display and keep, promotional materials, and the opportunity to subsidise the purchase of essential school resources. For an additional $50, the Bonus Promotion Kit will help turbo-charge awareness of the book club in your school.
As a new initiative, we will only have limited school spots available for Issue 1. To register your interest, please complete the application form and our team will confirm your spot as soon as possible. School registrations for Issue 1 commencing in Term 3 will close on 1 July 2026.
Click the image below for a downloadable letter to your school decision-maker with the full list of inclusions. Feel free to contact us if your school has further queries.
What can we use the school credit on?
10% on every dollar spent by your school’s families is returned to your school via a school credit. If the total value of the orders from your school’s families exceeds $1,000, you will receive 15% school credit.
Our team will calculate your school credit and issue your information after the order cut-off date. This can be used to re-invest in educational resources for students, teachers, classrooms and libraries from our full range in Createl and Veritatis Publishing.
What do I need to do and when?
1. Apply using the form below by 1 July 2026 to confirm your spot.
2. Your school will receive your book display kit and marketing kit in Week 1 Term 3
3. Set up your book display and promote the book club throughout Term 3 (see above).
4. Ensure your families don’t miss the order cut-off date of 6 September 2026
5. Your orders will arrive before the end of Term 3 packaged by class, to help your classroom teachers distribute them easily.
6. Use your school credit (issued after the order cut-off date) to re-invest in your essential resources.
